Field Study on Digitalization of Passenger Transport Services

On 08 September 2026, a delegation from the North Western Province Road Passenger Transport Authority (RPTA-NWP) visited the Kandy Multi-Modal Passenger Terminal Project Office, at the invitation of the Chairman of the Central Province Road Passenger Transport Authority. The visit focused on sharing knowledge and practical experience on the Bus Management System, GPS-based Bus Monitoring System, and bus operations and management. The program provided a valuable platform for inter-provincial knowledge sharing, collaboration and digital transport innovation, supporting the modernization of passenger transport services.
